Day 1.Depart GATWICK on VIETNAM AIRLINES departing on a FRIDAY 12.00

Day 2. Saturday: Hanoi Arrival eta. 06.40am

Welcome to Hanoi! You will be met at the airport for transfer to your hotel in Hanoi. The rest of the day is free.

Day3 Sunday: Hanoi City Tour (B)

Visit the Temple of Literature, Ho Chi Minh’s humble “stilt house”, the French colonial Governor’s Palace and One-Pillar Pagoda. Then take a fascinating cyclo ride exploring the Old Quarter and “36 Guild” streets.

Day 4 Monday: Hanoi — Ha Long Bay (B,L,D)

Transfer to Ha Long Bay, a unique bay filled with thousands of karsts and limestone islands. Go on a overnight cruise on a traditional junk.

Day 5 Tuesday Ha Long Bay — Hanoi — Hue (Brunch)

Continue cruising in the morning before transferring back to Hanoi airport for a short flight to Hue. On arrival, you will be met at the airport for the transfer to your hotel.

Day 6 Wednesday: Discover Hue, the Imperial City (B)

Take a boat ride along the romantic Perfume River and visit Thien Mu Pagoda and the Minh Mang mausoleum. In the afternoon, visit the Imperial Citadel and Forbidden City.  Enjoy some “retail therapy” at Dong Ba Market before transferring back to the hotel.

Day 7 Thursday: Hue — Danang — Hoi An (B)

Visit the Tombs of Emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh and then drive to Danang. Stop for a refreshment at Lang Co Beach, one of the world’s most beautiful bays. Afterwards, continue on to Hoi An. Check-in to your hotel and relax or take a walking tour through the quaint old town.

Day 8 Friday: Hoi An – Free Time On The Beach (B)

Free day in Hoi An Ancient town. For something different, you can join in a fun cooking class, head to the nearby Cua Dai beach or observe local life on a sunset cruise on the peaceful Thu Bon River.

Day 9 Saturday: Hoi An — Danang — Saigon (B,D)

Morning transfer to Danang airport for the flight to Saigon. In the afternoon, discover the city’s most attractive sites, taking in the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office before ending the day with a visit to Chinatown. In the evening, enjoy our highlight dinner.

Day10 Sunday: Saigon — Mekong Delta — Can Tho (B)

Travel to the beautiful countryside of the Northeastern Mekong Delta and Vinh Long province. Here you’ll take a boat ride to visit a local orchard and the famous Cai Be floating market. Leaving Cai Be, visit a local family producing coconut candy, a regional delicacy. Drive on to Can Tho, the hub of the Mekong Delta and its largest city.

Day11 Monday: Can Tho — Saigon (B)

Cruise some of the narrow and picturesque canals and waterways by small boat. Visit the Cai Rang-Phong Dien floating markets boats before driving back to Saigon.

Day12 Tuesday: Departure Flight Or Extensions (B)  Vietnam Airlines departure to Gatwick 23.25hrs  arrival next day (Wed) 07.20am

Free at leisure before late transfer to the airport for your return flight or make this the starting point for the rest of your trip.

POST-TOUR 1 ANGKOR WAT EXTENSION

Day11 Tuesday: Flight to Siem Reap (B)

Siem Reap arrival and transfer to the hotel. Discover Angkor Tom and more particularly, the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat until sunset from the top of Phnom Bakheng. 

Day12 Wednesday: Angkor Wat (B,D)

Visit Thomanon, Chau Say Tevoda, Takeo, Ta Prohm, Banteay Kdey and Sra Srang Temples. In the afternoon visit, Preak Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, the East Mebon and Pre Rup for a sunset view. Dinner in a local restaurant with traditional dances.

Day13 Thursday: Angkor Wat (B)

Visit the temple of Banteay Srey. On the way back, stop at Bantey Samre, considered as another masterpiece dating back to the 10th Century. Visit the craft village of Phouk where stone and marble carvings as well as silk weaving can be seen.

Day14 Friday Siem Reap – Ho Chi Minh – Departure Flight (B)

Free time until transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
